L. William Caine

William Caine was the first head college football coach for the University of Texas at Arlington Mavericks located in Arlington, Texas and he held that position for two seasons, from 1919 until 1920. His career coaching record at UT Arlington was 2 wins, 7 losses, and 1 ties. This ranks him 13th at UT Arlington in total wins and 13th at UT Arlington in winning percentage.[1]
