If A Racist Denies They're A Racist, Does That Make It So?

"They" don't actually...

I don't. Nor does my friends.

Thank you.
>Implying you and your friends account for the entire black population.

Anyways, as the great Young Jeezy once said:
"My president is black, my Lambo's blue, and I'll be goddamned if my rims ain't too."

God bless America

Racists have the right to express themselves and say dumb shit irrespective of fact....even deny they're racist.

>Implying you and your friends account for the entire black population.

God bless America

Sounds to me he's simply countering the suggestion made previously that "they" ("the entire black population") do.:2 cents:

Communautarianism is also a form of racism, it is when a group of people with their specific customs and habits, who doesn't represent the majority of the population, wants to impose its laws to the others.
When a group of people like Rachid Khalidi, Reverend Jesse Jackson and Farrakhan endorse Obama and helped him to be elected as President, you can't say that Blacks aren't racists because they are. Racism against whites exists, want it or not.
When statistics of crimes point out that a race is committing more crimes than another then there should be some reflexions and not jumping like a whinning kid on the bandwagon and yelling :"omfg, you are a racist."
I think when one migrates in another country he has to abide laws as well as respect customs and habits in the country where he migrated in and not acting like he is all allowed or all mighty, as did F o x E l i p s u s. F o x E l i p s u s was thinking he was a true American when he wasn't one. He was more or less a leftist pinko Iranian citizen from England who migrated in America. He left the board but he couldn't deal with the numerous ownages he had to face because of his ridiculous arguments and severe Anti Americanism in several threads.
If you want to prove someone wrong, do it with tact and intelligence.

you can't say that Blacks aren't racists because they are.

I know you're not in the habit of answering questions but who on earth said their aren't black racists? As best I can tell this thread is about an obvious racist trying to assert with a straight face he is not.

Racism against whites exists, want it or not.

Let me help you there Geo....racism against every race exists...but again you're :2offtopic but then again...:georges:

maybe he just doesn't know what racist means, so he denies he is one?

So the headline: Racist too dumb to know he's racist.

I can buy that one...:yesyes:

Facial King - Get on the horn already ! What are you waiting for ?
Doesn't ''Mo Dheez'' over at South Paw poverty law LLP pay finders fees commissions for such cases?
BTW, Mo is such a loveable squeezable teddy bear isn't he ? I could sit down and talk to that guy for hours on end.:banger:

In any event, if you sense that things are a bit slow over at poverty law, why not hold out and demand a 25 % cut out of the deal ?
As attorneys say : negotiate negotiate negotiate. :D

I just love those kinds of people that play the part of the 'all concerned' civil rights attorney..... "Dammit ! We have to stop these white racists.... White Racists I say !!!... Did I mention that we have an ever growing, run away population of WHITE Racists ? Did I make that clear ?"

....Follow 'em home only to find out that they live in castles.

I'm getting there myself lol.But let me throw this out there for consideration and this only pertains to racism as it applies in the US as that is all I feel able to speak to.And before I go any further I want to say to any non-white who reads this and finds any of what I post to be in any way offensive I deeply apologize as that is not my intention and I hope you forgive me.

First off blacks or other non-whites can't be racist in the way the white majority can and has been historically. They were never in a position to discriminate sytematically against others as whites were and are still.People can't have it both ways IMO eithier there is still systematic discrimimantion as evidenced by any look at the stats on unemployment, wealth etc or you beleive they are somehow not as equal as whites and that the differences are due to that and beleive a racist view of them as different (dare say inferior) is justified.

Second when we talk of blacks being racist why do we not see that they receive the same messages from society whites do which maybe not as bad as it once was still says you are better off white. There are lots of studies that show lots of blacks have a negative view of being black just like many in the white majority do_One example is whats called the "doll test" where black children are shown a black and a white doll and asked which they want and what ideas they associate with the two. They (and it is so sad ) think the white one represents generally everything good and the see the black one as representing negative qualities. They have incorporated the subtle messages the white dominated society has sent which are negative towards non whites.Again this is not nearly as much the case as it once was like when I was growing up in the 60s when you rarely saw blacks on TV and if you did it was usually as a servant/maid or other similar role.It wasn't untill the late 60s that started to change a little.

Now are there some blacks who are anti-white and have deep rooted resentments against all whites whether they be an idiot like the guy in Georgia posted about initally here or the rest of us who hopefully for the most part don't share his view,I'm sure there are. While distressing and not helpfull as that may be I still see that as a better reaction then the one shown by the children in the doll test who have negative self image of their own race.

We all still have long way to go before all the effects of what has been the very racist past are shed unfortuantely.Yes we have made progress but obviously more work needs to be done to really have a society that is post racial. All you have to do is look at how differently someone like Obama is talked about than other presidents have been, references to his race etc here and other places to know that IMO.

Here is just one the vids on the Black-white doll test at youtube and it shows unfortunately not really much has changed in 50 years(apparently contrary to the progress I like to believe has been made) since the test was 1st done and helped lead the supreme to court to desegregate schools. How anyone can watch these children who have a negative self image and not feel for them and want to them to feel differently is just beyond me.:dunno:

Exactly. :hatsoff:

Obama is anti-American and a racist.

I've heard it before. From Black Panthers, a guy on MTV's Real World, rappers, and so on. People that say they haven't heard it are either willfully ignorant and ignore it when people say it, or they are lying.

Some people you just can't reach.

Usually when someone starts their sentence "I am not a racist, but...", you know they are going to make a statement based on racial differences.

A better question is this: If you are white and disagree with someone of color, is it fair to call them a "racist"? Calling people names seems to be the last refuge of someone with no logical argument, but sadly in the era of PC-ness we live in today, calling someone a "racist" is the easiest way to cut off all debate. But it's been used so much that thankfully, it's now like the boy who cried "wolf" and no one really cares anymore, nor should they.

Or, I have a friend who happens to be black.

Happens to be?
yes.
His mother was black?
Yes.
And his father too?
Yes.
And they fucked?
uh huh.
I'd find it a little more surprising if he happened to be Scandanavian.

^ george carlin bit.

Ok the guy in the thread is a racist obviously.
Its only the point of the thread once again was to say how much white on black racism there is in the states.
This is just what they teach in school from kindergarden to the university, but its simply not reality.
yeah this guys extreme, but for every one of him you can find another person of a different race just as extreme.........tenfold (love that word).

and thats a real good post by cunningstunts^^

I don't. Nor does my friends.

Thank you.

Ok. Your right they call each other "*****" but whats the difference? Same word, just different spelling/pronunciation!

In your idea for a better question, who is the "them" that you are asking "is it fair to call them a racist?" - the white person or the person "of color"?

Yes, the accusation can cut off debate (or, more likely, a pointless, fruitless argument), but there are times where the description is accurate (see my link in the OP). I have lots of logical arguments about many different things, including race/racism matters, AND the man in the story I linked to is, clearly, a racist. It's not my last refuge, it's simply an accurate description of this man's flawed outlook.

Should no one really care about this?

I guess it depends on when the guy goes from hateful speech to hateful acts.

I don't use ni88a, ni88er or any such derivative - neither do my friends....Period!

One of the advantages of being older is remembering when that word was thrown at one as an insult - no amount of wannabes and rappers attempting to "reclaim" the word will never, EVER make me forget.....

Great - first post today, and now I'm pissed off...Ω
